Privacy, in plain words
Kiomigo helps you plan road trips. To do that we store the minimum we need, and this page explains exactly what that is.
What we store
Your account comes from Google, Facebook or Apple sign-in: we receive your name, email address and profile picture, nothing more. Trips, stops, travel members and preferences you enter are stored so your plans work across devices. If you set a nickname, other travellers see that instead of your real name.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers. We do not send marketing email. We do not track you across other websites. Hotel and flight prices are requested from partner APIs using only the trip parameters (dates, destination, party size), never your identity.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a preference cookie for language and currency. No third party advertising cookies.
Price data
Currency conversion rates are daily estimates from the European Central Bank and are shown for orientation only. Bookable prices always come from the booking partner in their own currency.
Your rights
You can view and edit everything we store about you on your account page. You can delete your account there too: this removes your profile and personal data; trips you shared publicly are anonymised. For any privacy question, message us via Contact (we answer in the app, so your question never sits in an email inbox).
Who we are
Kiomigo is operated from the Netherlands and follows the GDPR. Data is stored inside the European Union.
